Counselling is a form of “talking therapy” where a trained professional helps individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a safe and confidential environment to improve understanding and coping mechanisms.

Psychotherapy is a specialist talking treatment which helps people to explore their lives in order to understand and work through emotional and psychological problems.

Many such problems are the result of underlying conflicts and fears for which there seems to be no rational explanation.  My role is to help clients discover the nature of such fears and to find ways of resolving them.

For psychotherapy to be effective, it is helpful if the individual has some ability to consider the ways in which their own actions and behaviours may be contributing to the difficulties they find themselves in.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it takes courage to reach out for support.  Taking the step to seek counselling and psychotherapy can feel daunting, but it is also a sign of strength and self-care. As an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, I work alongside you to help make sense of what you are going through and to find ways forward that feel right for you.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative, drawing from different therapeutic modailities to tailor our work to your unique needs. Together, we can explore patterns, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

I bring not only my professional training and life experiences, but also my belief in the value of human connection, compassion and hope.

You do not have to go through things alone – support is here when you are ready.
